Mind Your Manners

With Halloween officially complete, the holiday season is in full swing. It's a time for celebrating and gathering with friends, family and loved ones. It's also a time to test our table manners at all of the dinner functions we will attend or host.
Whether you’re a novice or the office’s Emily Post, we encourage you to join us for the Event Coordinator’s Network Brown Bag this Friday, November 9, to review table etiquette. Ever wonder who should be served first at the head table? Wonder no longer by attending this session and getting the answer firsthand to this and all things dining related! Linda Oldham will lead the group in reviewing multiple scenarios, including how to set a table for a variety of occasions, and take questions. Questions can be submitted in advance to Patricia Smith at patricia.smith@scheller.gatech.edu.
Registration is free and earns 0.1 CEU credits. Participants can RSVP through the Office of Human Resources. The brown bag will be held in the Gordy Dining Room in the Wardlaw Building, beginning at 11:30 a.m.
As an incentive for traveling around campus on these brisk days, Bold American Events will be providing hot cider and treats for attendees. Bold American Catering is one of Tech's approved caterers. If you have not worked with them yet, please be sure to view their online portfolio.
We hope to see you there!
