Frank Gordy Dining Room at the William C. Wardlaw Jr. Center
Updated: February 26, 2015
The Wardlaw Center, located at the corner of North Avenue and Techwood Drive, not only houses Georgia Tech’s Development and Institute Communications departments, but also offers ideal space for seated dinners for 50 to 100 guests.
The Frank Gordy Dining Room overlooks historic Grant Field at Bobby Dodd Stadium, providing an impressive view for your guests. The room is event ready being preset with seventeen 60-inch round tables, 120 chairs, and a combination of 6-foot and 8-foot tables. For presentations, the Gordy Room is equipped with two projectors and drop-down screens, along with a podium and sound system, allowing guests to easily see and hear speakers and their slides.
Georgia Tech Catering operates the attached kitchen that houses a stove, commercial refrigerators, a prep station, and a coffee station. When using any caterer other than Georgia Tech Catering, a $300 fee for the kitchen to be opened will be charged and access to certain kitchen items may be limited.
For larger events requiring breakout spaces, the Wardlaw Center contains several smaller meeting rooms including the Aderhold, Gellerstedt, and Poole rooms. Yet, the most impressive feature is having free parking access for your guests within the building for any events taking place after 5:00 p.m.
